j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

The vision received was that of blood cells traveling throughout the body, supplying the much needed oxygen and other nutrients to the differing members of the body to fulfill their purpose. Once the blood cells are spent, they must return back to the heart to be refilled before being sent out again and fulfill their purpose. Good evening, saints. It's always good to be with you, to be in your presence and to be allowed the opportunity to share with you some things that the Lord has shared with me. I count it a privilege and a joy to do so, and I pray that you have come to receive from his word the sustenance and the words of life that you need to hear.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

I pray that.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

It's an encouraging word, something that would provoke you to apply the word and to apply your faith and mix it with the word, something that Bishop had shared a couple weeks back, maybe a month back or a month and a half back and he talked about a woman that came to Jesus and this woman was a stranger.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

What I mean by that is that she was not of the house of Israel, she was not even half the house of Israel. She wasn't even a Samaritan. She was a Greek, a Syrophoenician woman, it says. If we can all turn to Mark, chapter 7, we'll read about her very briefly this woman had a daughter, and this daughter had an unclean spirit within her, possessed of a demon. It doesn't tell us in depth how she knew about Jesus, why she came to Jesus, just says that this woman who had a daughter of an unclean spirit heard of him and came and fell at his feet in verse 25 of chapter 7. And the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by nation, and she besought him that He would cast forth the devil out of her daughter. And when she came to him, she worshipped him at his feet, it says. But Jesus said to her let the children first be filled, for it is not meet to take the children's bread and to cast it to the dogs. And she answered and said unto him yes, Lord

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs. She would not take offense at his answer, because if you hung around with Jesus long enough. And it says in the scriptures and the disciples knew it that he came to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. He did not come to the Gentiles, that was not his mission per se. He came to the lost sheep of the house of Israel and she answered him. But even the dogs eat under the table of the children's crumbs. And he said unto her for this, saying go thy way, the devil has gone out of thy daughter.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

And in Mark's recording or account of this event it seems pretty cut and dry. And so I want to look at Matthew's account of the same event. Matthew's account starts in chapter 15. Of the same event, matthew's account starts in chapter 15. And it's not that we prefer one perspective over another, but I in my studies always like, if I know that this is a parallel passage, meaning that someone else has recorded the same event, it's always good to look at been said from the pulpit here for many years and in public schools for many years by Bishop Harris, that there's his story, there's her story, then there's the whole story or their story or something to that effect. So I like to look at all of the accounts to get as good of an overall, accurate picture of what took place. So return to Matthew 15.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

We read of the same woman who cried out to him in verse 22. She said have mercy on me, o Lord, thou son of David. Now that wasn't said before, but that's really, really important. Thou son of David refers to his identity, refers to his prophetic identity. She must have known something about the prophetic scriptures of old, don't know when, don't know how, but she referred to him as the son of David. And the son of David refers to the coming Messiah that had been prophesied through many different prophets of old is the son of David would arise again. She said my daughter is grievously vexed with the devil. But he answered her not a word. He stayed quiet.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

See, in Marks you don't get that kind of picture, but here you get the kind of picture that he heard her and then he ignored her, just kept on about his business. And the disciples came to him and they were beseeching him and say, hey, do you want us to send her away? She's crying after us. And that picture there shows me that she was relentlessly continuing to cry out after he ignored her Because she wouldn't take no for an answer. She must have been desperate. She must have been desperate, she must have been at her wit's end because there was to go, nowhere else to turn to, and she would not take no for an answer from someone whom she believed was the Messiah, the son of David. And he answered them and said I am not sent, but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So he continues to say what he's been telling them all along I've come to save the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And she came and worshipped him.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

That's a repeat of what Mark said. She came and worshipped him and said Lord, help me Remember. This was a Gentile, this was a Syrophoenician woman, this was not someone who was of the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And then he answers her and says it is not me to take the children's bread and to cast it to dogs. And she said truth, I agree, amen, lord. But yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master's table. She humbled herself dearly to receive the blessing of the Lord and because of this, jesus answered her and said unto her oh woman, great is thy faith. Be it unto thee, even as thou wilt, let it be done to you, just as you will it. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. L

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

And this is the type not of the house of Israel, not of the house of God, a Gentile woman, a stranger, someone completely outside of his relationship, because of faith did not give up, because her faith would not give in but would even grovel at is that Bishop brought up was why? Why did the Lord answer her? She wasn't of the house of God, she wasn't a Jew, she wasn't even a half Jew, she was a Greek, a Seraphim woman. Why is he answering her prayer? And this is . where Why I'm going to deviate. Not that the teaching was wrong. I, just when I heard it, I thought of Israel and this is where I want to share with you.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

It goes all the way back to a prayer that was prayed by an old man in the Old Testament, who was a king and he was a son of David. His name was Solomon and Solomon Solomon prayed a prayer that hundreds don't remember the time maybe over a thousand years later, was still being answered In 1 Kings, chapter 8,. Let's are outside the go Solomon was the son of David. David was the one not Solomon, but David was the one that had it in his heart to build his God a place to dwell. And we know, if we know anything of the scriptures, that David was not allowed to build that house because he had too much blood on his hands. But Solomon took to heart this vision that David had and he proceeded to do what was necessary to bring this vision to pass, even after David died. And when this temple was constructed, it was known as Solomon's Temple, and on the day that it was completed, solomon then sent out a prayer before all of the house of Israel, and it says in verse 41, during his prayer, he prayed a lot. I'm going to skip a lot, I'm going to focus on this section for right now. He says in chapter 8, verse 41 of 1 Kings Moreover, include this in my prayer, lord, concerning a stranger that is not of thy people, israel, but cometh out of a far country.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

Why, for thy namesake? Our country? Why For thy namesake? For they shall hear Well, God great name and thy strong hand and of thy outstretched arm. And when he shall come, pray toward this house. He says to the from heaven, thy dwelling place, look at what he says is the dwelling place. He just made him a temple. For what For him to dwell? But even in the midst of his prayer, he says to the Lord hear thou in heaven, thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth thee for why? That all of the people of the earth may know thy name and fear thee, as do thy people, israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by thy name.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

Solomon prays like Jesus did on the Last Supper. He didn't pray just for his disciples only, but for those that would hear on the word of his disciples and believe on him. Well, David, solomon doesn't just pray for the house of Israel, but he's David for the Gentiles. He's praying for the strangers. He's praying for those that are for the Solomon's house of Israel, but he's praying for the Gentiles. He's praying for God the strangers. He's praying for those that are outside the house that will one day hear of his great name and of his great hand and strong builded mighty power and will turn unto him and call out to him. Solomon prays that Lord, hear from heaven and answer all that they pray unto thee. So he's beseeching that God would hear the prayers of even strangers. If they do something, they also need to do what the house of Israel needed to do. They needed to humble themselves and pray and seek him in order to glorify his name throughout all the earth.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

Can you imagine? Because if you read the old covenant you take the Jewish perspective. Well, god was only a God of the Jews. God had no interest in the Gentiles. God had no interest in the barbarians, the heathen, the Jews. God had no interest in the Gentiles. God had no interest in the barbarians, the heathen, the pagan. And yet somehow the Spirit of God was interceding through the prayer of a man who had just built a natural temple. But in so doing he realizes that the only dwelling place of the Lord is somewhere out there that he cannot see. He calls it heaven. Hear thou from heaven, thy dwelling place, and answer all that the stranger asks of thee, so that your name would be glorified in all the earth. If I turn back just a few verses in verse 27.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

Solomon said something very interesting. He said, and now over verse 26. And now, oh God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee be verified, which thou speakest unto thy servant, david. My father Confirm the word that you gave unto my father, david, but would God indeed dwell on the earth? Even in the midst of this prayer, solomon's like are you really, do you dwell on the earth Really, god? Look at what he says. Behold the heaven of heaven. And heaven of heavens cannot even contain thee, how much less this house that I've built.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

He just finished the house that his father envisioned that he would build for the Lord himself. And yet he realizes, in the midst of having built it, that is God really going to dwell on the earth? Come on, who am I kidding here? He says yet thou have respect unto the prayer of thy servant and to a supplication. Even though I built a house, even though I know that it doesn't even make sense for God to dwell on the earth because the earth can't contain him, not even the heaven of heavens can contain him, yet I build a house for you. That makes a whole lot of sense. So, lord, listen to my prayer, listen to the prayer, o Lord God, and hearken unto the cry and to the prayer which your servant is praying this day, and he goes on to give a litany of things that he is beseeching God for. But I want to hold that right there, because Solomon realizes that, even though he built the temple, it doesn't even make sense for God to dwell in a temple that he just made, because how can it contain him? He's God. Even the heavens can't contain him.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

So it reminds me of what one of the disciples of the Lord, the apostles of the history of Israel and in the midst of the history of Israel, it says in verse 47, but Solomon built him a house, howbeit the Most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands. Solomon built him a house, but God doesn't dwell in temples made by hands. Even Solomon said that, and it's reiterated again in Acts, chapter 17, verse 24. God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is the Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands. He doesn't dwell in temples made by hands, talking about human hands. He doesn't dwell in temples made by hands, talking about human hands. He doesn't dwell there. But we all think that he dwelled in Solomon's temple. That's where he resided. But even Solomon said he didn't reside there. And Paul just reiterates God doesn't dwell in temples made by hands.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

It reminds me of how Jesus said through the prophet David in Psalm 127, unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it. The Lord doesn't dwell in temples made by human hands, but there is a house, and this is where Solomon maybe couldn't verbalize it, but he made enough indication that he realized it don't make sense for him to dwell in this natural temple, because not even the heaven of heavens can hold thee. But what he did in building that natural temple was something that signified what he could not see. That was a reality in the spirit. That was a reality in the spirit. It was a reality in the invisible. There is a place in which God dwells, a place that he cannot see. We call it the heavens, or the heaven of heavens is where he dwells. He has a throne. God has built himself himself a temple, and let's follow this trail here.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

Let's turn to John 1, verse 1. It says In the beginning was the Word you should all know this and the Word was with God and the Word was God, and I always skip to verse 14. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory. The glory is the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. And all of this was talking about Jesus. Jesus was the word that was with God and it was not only with God that was. God became flesh and he dwelt. The word was dwelt among us. And if I turn to John 2, 19, jesus says something very peculiar and everybody thought he was talking naturally. They thought they were talking about, or he was talking about, the temple. Jesus' answer said destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up. But the apostle John said two verses later in 21,. But he spake of the temple of his body. He wasn't speaking of this natural built temple of mortar and brick and stone. This temple was his body. At least the natural body of Jesus Christ represented his temple.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

And if we turn to John, chapter 3, it says three very interesting things. Number one John testified that the Spirit was given unto Jesus without measure, without limitation. It says in verse 34, for he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God, for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. The second interesting thing it says all things are given unto the hand of Jesus, for the Father loveth the Son and hath given all things into his hand. If I were to look at John 13, 3, just real quick, it says, right at the last supper, jesus, knowing that the father had given all things into his hands, Jesus, the man realized Jesus, god had given all things into his hand and that he was come from God, that he was from God, just as John 1, 1 said, the word that was with God, the word was God and he was going unto God. It says and went to God. All things were given into his hand, all things were given into his hand. And number three, jesus spoke the words of God.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

This is very, very interesting regarding who this man really was, because now, when we look at what the apostles looked at Jesus, as we see how it makes sense. For it says in Colossians 2, 9, for in him, meaning who In Jesus dwelt. Dwelt was the word what All? The fullness of the Godhead body. In Colossians 2, verse 9. For in him dwelleth. That word dwelleth means to house a permanent house, a settled house that's permanent Bodily, is something that has to do with corporally, bodily, of the exalted or spiritual body of that man, and it's where we get the other scriptures that make even more sense In 2 Corinthians 5.19,.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

God was where In Christ. In Christ Doing what? Reconciling the world unto himself. It makes much sense when we this 1 Timothy 3.16, that, without controversy, great is the mystery of godliness just as it said in John 1.14,. The word was manifested in the flesh, it was God. God has a temple that he's made his own, and temporarily it was that body, and that body represented something in the heavens, something that we have not seen yet, but something that we make up of right now Because we are the body of Christ. Know ye not that what Ye are, the temple. Ye are the temple of the Holy Ghost, who is none other than Jesus.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

So why am I speaking all this? Why did I start with this Syrophoenician woman? Because this Syrophoenician woman, remember Solomon was praying about the temple and let everyone that turns toward the temple and prays, let him get what he asked for. Well, what was this Syrophoenician woman doing? Praying toward the temple? It was right there, in the flesh, it was Jesus, and Jesus, even though he neglected her, if you will, even though he might've ignored her, if you will, only to see her faith, only to have it be a testimony unto us right now of the type of faith you need to have to get a prayer answered. Because even if a stranger went to Jesus and got a prayer answered with that type of faith, why are we getting our prayers answered when we're of the household of God? We are the house of Israel. Why are strangers getting their prayers answered? We are the house of Israel. Why are strangers getting their prayers answered? How about the centurion man? He was not of the house of Israel, but he sent servants unto Jesus that don't even bother coming into my house, just speak the word and my servant will be healed. And what did Jesus say? I have not seen a faith in all of Israel like this one. Bam, his servant was healed. Wow, strangers are getting the prayers answered. How so? How come? 1 Kings verse 8 again Because Solomon knew that God does not dwell in temples made by hands.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

Because Solomon had a heart to fulfill, maybe what he didn't even understand that the Jewish people were to be evangelizing this gospel to the whole world was already praying for the whole world. He wanted his name, his power, his majesty to be glorified throughout all the earth, and so the condition was concerning the stranger, who is not of thy people but who will come out from a far country. For what? For thy name's sake. That means they've heard of you, they've recognized and they begin to revere you, your name, lord, because they're gonna hear of your great name, they're gonna hear of your strong hand, your outstretched arm. When he comes and prays toward this house, now you could think of, he was talking about this natural house. But even Solomon said you don't even dwell there. He must have been referring to some other house, not realizing he was referring to the presence of God himself.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

God, when they come toward you, god, when they cry out toward you, when they look out toward you, hear thou from heaven, thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth thee for, so that all the people of the earth will know thy name and fear thee. That, to me, is a description of a people that is willing to humble themselves and pray and seek his face, which we read up in 2 Chronicles. If they humble themselves and seek your face, then he will do all the things that, but that was to the house of Israel, but it makes a whole lot of sense that the stranger would be required to do the same thing. Put aside your gods, put aside your ideas, put aside your paradigm and come, seek my face and I will answer thee, even though you be a stranger, Because my plan, even though the Jews couldn't see it, is that I want the whole world to be saved. I want all mankind to be saved. It is not my will that any man should perish, but that they would repent and turn from their wicked ways and seek my face. So look at all of Solomon's prayer now.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

Solomon prays in verse 29 that thine eyes be open toward this house, night and day. Now, remember, this house is not about this natural house, it's about God himself. Be open to the prayers, day and night. Lord, the place where you put your name, and hearken unto the prayer which your servant had made toward this place, toward you. When you hear, when you hear please forgive.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

In verse 30. It says in verse 31, if any man trespass against his neighbor. This is not talking about a stranger, this is talking about the house of Israel. If any man in the house of Israel trespass against his neighbor and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and the oath come before thine altar in the house. Hear thou in heaven and do and judge thy servants. Condemn the wicked. Bring his way upon his head and justify the righteous. Give him according to his righteousness.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

You read enough of the scriptures. You know that God is a just God and that's exactly what he does. You walk in unrighteousness. You will get the rewards of your unrighteousness. You walk in righteousness and you will get the reward of the righteous.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

So Solomon's only praying the heart of God. That's how he is, that is his justness, that is his righteousness. He says when your people are smitten down before the enemies because they have sinned against thee and shall turn again to thee and confess thy name and pray and make supplication, hear thou in heaven, forgive thy sin, the sin of the people of Israel, and bring them into the land which thou gavest to your fathers. If he requires it of God's people, he requires it of the stranger. He says when heaven is shut up, when there is no rain, when the blessings are not falling and the people cry out unto your name and pray towards you, turn from their sin. You see how he keeps attaching the turn from their sin, turn from your sin, turn from your wicked ways and when you afflict them, hear that from heaven and forgive them, Because God always wants his people to not die in their sin but repent. It's what all the captivity, it's what all the castigation, it's what all the discipline was about Not to kill you but to get you to turn from your ways and seek his face again. That's why we see in judges, up and down, they kept turning away from him but they wanted to cry out to him. So when they cried out to him, what did he do? He raised up a judge to deliver him, to deliver them. That's what he did all the time.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

You see that all throughout the scriptures you had righteous kings in Judah and then you had the very unrighteous kings and they would rise and fall based upon the leader. And if the leader would cry out to him and repent and turn from wicked ways of their forefathers, they would be blessed. If there be in the land famine, pestilence, blasting mildew, locusts or caterpillar or the enemy besiege them in the land of their cities and whatsoever, plague and sickness there be, what prayer and supplication so ever be made by any man? We think he's talking about the plagues like boils and stuff. No, there's a sin in your heart, there's a plague that is there, and when every man knows what that plague is and spread forth his hands toward the house, then hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive and do according to his ways, whose heart you know. You know the heart of that man Because you only know, you're the only one that knows the heart of man.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

In chapter 9 of 1 Kings it says and it came to pass when Solomon had finished building of the house of the Lord and the king's house and all Solomon's desire which he pleased to do that the Lord appeared to Solomon the second time as he appeared unto him at Gibeon. The Lord said unto him in answer to this great prayer you can read all the verses yourself in chapter 8. He says I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication that thou has made before me. I have hollowed this house which thou has built to put my name there forever, and my eyes and my heart shall be there perpetually. Is that house in existence today? Is that house in existence today? Solomon's temple up? Is it erected? No, it's been destroyed. It's been burned at least twice over.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

So what did the Lord bless? He was blessing the prayers of a man who only understood carnally, but was speaking prophetically, without him knowing, of a house in the heavens. I have blessed this house and my name is there forever, perpetually. And it says and if thou will walk before me, as David thy father walked, in the integrity of heart and uprightness, and do according to all that I have commanded thee and will keep my statutes and my judgments, then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel forever, as I promised David, thy father, saying there shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

So there is already a condition yes, I've heard your prayer and yes, I'm going to answer it. And this is the condition. It says but if ye shall turn from following me, because he gave the positive condition If you turn from following me, ye and your children, you and your descendants, and you will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I've set before thee, if you will go and serve other gods and worship them, I will cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them, and this house which I have hollowed for my name will I cast out of my sight, and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people and at this house, which is high, everyone that passeth it shall be astonished and shall hiss, and they shall say why hath the Lord done this unto this land and to this house? And they will answer Because they forsook the Lord, their God, and so the Lord brought evil upon them, their God, and so the Lord brought evil upon them. I go over this, because the question that I ask myself is why are not our prayers getting answered when we are in the house of the Lord? Why are strangers prayers getting answered? What are they doing that we are not doing? And we're talking about taking communion today, and it says don't take communion in a manner unworthily.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

When we come to God in prayer, are we checking ourselves and where we're at? Are we in right standing with God? Are we behaving the right way? Are we saying the right things? Are we doing the right things? Are we keeping his statutes and his just judgments? Are we walking the way we want to walk and then praying toward God and asking him to do something for us? Because if we are right in his will, if we are right in his word, there is not a prayer that we will pray that will not go unanswered. Why do all the new covenant scriptures say he will have whatsoever ye ask?

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

Look at all the scriptures and put it together you have whatsoever you ask. When you ask according to his will, and you are walking in his will. Yes, you will have whatsoever you ask because he said unto the stranger answer everything, all that he requests of thee, all that he requests of thee, and he was a stranger. Well, why not he not do more so for his own children that are walking in line with his word? Yes, you will have whatsoever you ask. If you pray according to his will, he promises to hear from heaven and answer your prayer and you shall have whatsoever you ask. But you've got to come right with him. You cannot come out of line, you cannot come crooked, you cannot come out of place. He has an umbrella of grace and you step outside the umbrella and you expect that you'll be protected from the rain. Well, how is that? If you walk outside the umbrella, get back underneath the umbrella of his grace and his covering and then you'll be protected from the rain. And while you're in the midst of that, you can have whatsoever you ask.

j - Jesus M. Ruiz :

So my challenge to you, to all of us in the saints in this day, is when you come to God in prayer of us in the saints in this day is when you come to God in prayer, when we come to him in communion today, make sure that you're right with him and if you're not, fix it, get it right, get in the right place, get out of the crookedness and get straight with him. And if you read 1 Kings, chapter 8, you'll see what it is that you need to do Repent from your sin, turn from your wicked ways and some of your wicked ways are just your way. It's just your way, not God's way. Just turn from those ways. Acknowledge him in all your ways and he will make straight your path. Do not lean on your own understanding, but acknowledge him in all your ways and he will make straight your path.
